  • Domaine Kikones

    Melina Tasou, a pioneer among the wineries in Rhodopi region, founded the winery in 2004. The name of the cellar comes from an ancient Thracian tribe, known for their fine wines. On an area of 10 hectares of own vineyards in the area of Maronia, the company grows organically local grape varieties of Malaguzia and Limnio, as well as five foreign ones, including Sangiovese and Syrah. The cellar is 5 km away from Komotini (Neo Sidirochori). Tourists are welcome to visit and taste throughout the year by prior request. Optionally, a special tour to the vineyards of Maronia or the ancient wine presses of Kikones tribe can be organized.

    Estate Protopapas was established in 1985 by Mr. A. Protopapas, a chemical engineer, with the intention of making high quality wine for the greek and international markets.

  • Fellahides Winery

    It was in 1990 as Savvas Fellahides first become involved in viticulture, when he established an experimental vineyard of 3,000 sq.m. at Aghios Andreas, Kavala.

  • Gutsidis Winery

    The winery, founded in 1997, is located in the village of Dikea, 5 km from the border with Bulgaria at Svilengrad.

    1989 marks the beginning of an important period for the revival of the vineyards in the Adriani region.

  • Vourvoukeli Estate

    Founded in 1999 by Nikos and Flora Vourvoukeli in the area of Avdira (20 km from Xanthi). The aim is to revive the region's wine heritage, which dates back to antiquity. Typical grape varieties such as Mavrud, Pamid, Limnio, Assyrtiko, Malagasy have been planted on an area of 40 hectares. The produced wines have aging potential. They are stored in a specially built wine cellar area, open to visitors during tours from Monday to Saturday (10:00 - 15:00). A guided tour is provided every hour, it takes about 45 minutes and it is suitable for people with mobility difficulties.
